A very similar fastback in silver was the car of a friend of us, for a long time.
I once drove this back home after a party where she was too spoilt to do it herself :-D but wasn't that impressed of the car, I remember.
Maybe my Miata was just the better car (of the very same kind) in this time, back in the mid-90s.

Remember a drive through Tuscany hills and forests with the Miata, trailed by a local in such an Alfa, too... this was fun and he waved goodbye after going in another direction.
I was a firsttimer there and he knew the roads, but it felt not that hard to stay up front.
