Message Board - Scale18 1/18 Scale Diecast Model Cars, Since 1997

Here are two 1967 Mercury Cougars made by Sunstar. Not bad models for the price although I thought they sat a bit high for Trans Am racers so I lowered them a bit.

I also was less than satisfied with the wheels and tires so I changed the ones on the Gurney car to ones I got from GMP

I would have changed the wheels/tires on both models but my GMP supply ran out. And once again the car with the 'stock' wheels and tires will likely be more valuable at resale because it is closer to 'mint in box'
