CSX-2286 only raced in one race - Le Mans in 1965 - and back in the early 2000's was not worthy of Exoto to make a model of it. It was two friends I made on this board who suggested to me that I could model one myself by making custom decals. My initial idea was to just have one example of each of the six actual Daytona Coupes but once I learned I could make more my horizons widened - made 29 custom models to go with the additional ones Exoto released and now have 50 Daytona Coupes.
