As far modifying the 412P, I'm still trying to decide. The car looks better to me with a livery having less clutter. What I dislike most about the #33 is the large blue Sabena airlines logo. I think the way it's positioned detracts from the car's great body lines. It was positioned differently on the Jouef and didn't add another color to the car.

I'm not concerned about devaluing it because I can't imagine selling it. I do have some concerns about being able to do it though. My current plan is to display it as is for a while and see if I can come around to liking the livery better.

If not, I will try to determine if the decals are under the clearcoat as you mentioned and also figure out if removing the windshield sticker will be a problem. I did manage to remove all the Tour de France decals from this resin BBR to apply this Targa Florio livery. That gives me some hope that I might be able to pull it off again (no pun intended). :-)
