100 pictures, which are still there but I have recently shared all of those. I back up my work laptop but because of the age of this one it would not communicate with many programs and in the back of my mind I thought when it quit I could still retrieve the hard drive info. I have never deleted any pictures but I never thought about the laptop being physically damaged. Live and learn (I hope)!
