When I was a very young kid in the 50s my uncle would often play rock songs from that period when I was around him. By the time I was in my teen years I was forever hooked on music from the late 50s through the 1960s.

In the 1970s when many of my friends were into heavy metal and progressive rock I was usually listening to oldies. :-)

Today I still relish those old songs and listen to them quite often but also like some of the stuff produced from the 70s through the 90s.

In keeping with my passion for vintage stuff, I bought a bluetooth adapter so I can stream music from modern source devices to the amplifier in this now sought after 1970s era Marantz receiver connected to a set of bookshelf speakers.
