step will be a swap to better wheels. The 1/43rd is a stock model by Best of an Opalescent Bronze E-type the way it ran at Nassau in 1961. It also ran at Bridgehampton in 1962 with the number 71.

My goal was not to replicate that 1:1 but to replicate the E-type that appeared in the movie "Spinout". It ran with the number 71 and its worn dirty paint looked like it might have either been the same Bronze or possibly Jaguar Sand Gold. I'm guessing it was the bronze and was also wondering if the car used in that 1966 film was the same car that ran at Bridehampton four years earlier with the same race number. I'll probably never know the answer to either question but I liked that color so that's what I applied to the 1/18th Bburago.
