This one seemed to just have a light mist of dark paint lightly applied to it and that came off easily using the polish.
However, I also have a weathered Ferrari 333SP and the weathering on the sides seems to be part of a clear decal. I'd like to de-weather that one as well but I'll probably have to remove and replace the side decals to do it. I'll need to be in the mood to spend a lot of time on it before I start that project.
