step down but I think a good pre-owned example of the "Lucybelle" white 250 TR will set me back over $600 if I could find one in the USA. There are 3 non-Lucybelle versions on ebay now asking between $500 and $680. If I didn't already have the red CMC 250 TR I would be more willing to pay that price.

Regarding the trade war, the current 125% tariff on Chinese imports could push the Tecno to $600 if neither the suppliers or retailers offset that fee to a degree. However I doubt that rate will last very long. It would drive US inflation through the roof since many somewhat essential products are imported from there.

I have until the 3rd quarter when the Tecno is released to monitor the tariff situation. If I saw a really good Lucybelle for sale I might bite the bullet before then and get it. Not if the seller is in another country though because a new tariff could be put on while the model was in transit and I might be stuck paying whatever it is. He's already ended the under $800 duty exemption for items from China and Hong Kong and he could end it for other countries at any time on a whim.
