I was tempted by but never bought it. What I like about the 2000GT in gold is that it represents a very rare 1:1. And after Toyota USA re-painted one of the only three gold cars ever made red it became even more rare.

Still can't understand why they didn't bring it back to the original factory color. What's worse is that the book notes that the people who re-painted it used a Ferrari red instead of the Solar Red color used on other 2000GTs. Apparently it was a mistake but the book didn't indicate that it was corrected.
