#446725 Agree about Modolo brakes. They are mostly overrated.

Don't get me wrong, I like the Celeste color too, but the paint is quite fragile in that color, for some reason, and tend to crackle quite a bit after some time.
I agree about Modolo brakes. One of the first things I take off a project bike I am restoring are Modolo frameset. They have caliper arms that are too thin sectioned and flex a lot when you apply the brakes. The later models with thd thicker more angular modern calipsr arm design were better though.
Their so called "sintered" brake pads were really bad too. Ate up rim sidewalls really bad and did not brake too well in the wet because of their very hard compound. I throw those in the bin too whenever I encounter them on my bike resto projects and replace them with more sensible Kool Stop equivalents......
