#446690 That's the reason why this is my favourite diecast forum,

the vast majority of colectors buys supercars, street cars, and worst, tunings like liberty walks, rocket bunnys and other things...i obviously have nothing against it, altough i fail to see the interest on such things. Here people mostly colect race cars, especialy vintage and to me this is so much more apealing. Also i think (and i'm not trying to pe pedantic) that vintage car colectors (street or race version) are usualy more knowledgeable, because most of the modern cars are very easy to copy and scale down, but the old ones a so much more difficult, and i sometimes get amazed at the level of detail in wich some colectors look at new models and spot their flaws! i have sold almost all of my road cars to buy vintage Ferrari racers, and i don't know if i will kep the very few i have. On the other hand and even if i don't believe i will ever part with my collection, i fear that race cars would be more dificult to sell, were tehn road cars are extremly easy to move over, and on most cases i make a profit out of them.
