Well, AA's composites are controversical.
They announced it as a cost-cutting concept, and some are lacking the usual detail a bit.
But: they are much more costly than the old diecasts, which doesn't work for me.
Same price for less in different times, that's ok.
Like it is now, much less for more, no way.

PMA's plastics were too cheap and simple to be successful, gladly their new concept is sealed diecast with many, many versions.
Ideal for racecars, and they showed a stunning list of news this year.
Perhaps boring for some, but the core of my personal interest.
So I am happy with this switch to semi-affordable stuff again, even if they are a far cry to the quality level of older days.

Their overpriced resin efforts were chopped to pieces by the market, the real world did its thing there.
