I've got plenty of models - most of them in fact, that have inaccuracies, large and small, that I happily live with.

But for some reason I could not leave this car alone

I decided that I waned one with wire wheels, like some of the earliest Ford GT's so I changed the car to this



But what i really wanted was a race car so I changed the car to this



I put it up on the shelf and was happy with it for a few weeks but two things kept gnawing at me. The first was that i felt the #14's I put on the doors were a bit too small and the second was that the actual Ford of France car that this is modeled after did not have fender mounted racing mirrors.

So...............



Now I'm finding that I don't like the way the labels look on the Ford GT's I have in individual display boxes so I'm in the process of redoing those.

It scares me to think how many time wasting projects I'm going to come up with when I retire
