The obvious issues with this cars accuracy are the racing mirrors and the black gaskets around the light covers - there are a bunch more but those are the two most glaring.

My response to that is that this is a model of the restored car that is now being used for Vintage Racing - thus the now required racing mirrors.

As for the gaskets - I like the look of them better this way and don't want to risk screwing the covers or the model up by repainting them.
