#443732 Point the finger at capitalism...........and greed

It's far easier to just crank out 'something' than it is to do a really well executed replica. We all know that......unfortunately, in the push for profit, it seems no manufacturer is immune. Then we add the aggravation of poor or incomplete research....and this is the one that while it's one of the easiest to understand should also be one of the easiest issues to eliminate......the model manufacturers need to bolster their respective staff with KNOWLEDGEABLE personnel......and thanks to the internet, geography is no longer an issue.
Given those statements, we now get to one of the more difficult issues for any doing a model....can you get access to a 1:1 that has not been modified somehow over the years since being built?.....do you know for fact that what you are looking at is OEM, or has it been modded ? What becomes 'acceptable?..........I don't think the collector community would be as fussy if we had more disclosure from the manufacturers about the car used to make the model.
So, which manufacturer will be among the first to step up in the name of transparency ( yeah, I understand the political connotation, but....)

We'll see, soon, I hope.
