My Autobarn Ferrari 250P arrived today. I took some pics and I have some comments. I would say that this model is Tecnomodels quality. The shape is better than most of their models but there are some detail errors. Everyone has picked up on the hood straps. They aren't decals. They're three dimensional, but kind of small and of course they don't reach the hood. I'm not going pry them off but instead add on trying to match the belt color and shape.

The model has tow rings front and rear which the original didn't. It seems they might have used a restored car that participates in historic races for reference, without realizing that tow rings weren't widely used in 1963. It doesn't have brackets for raising the car at pit stops which the original did.

I didn't see any other significant errors. There is some lack of detail which I expected. And I've got some revisions to do, but I'm generally satisfied as when finished the car will be accurate, which I can't say of some recent releases that don't have an accurate shape.
