this Mangusta. I have a red one here. They shipped this piece to me several weeks ago for me to see exactly how the models would be. I have been back & forth with them for over a year discussing my selling these models in the US, as well as giving them advice, most of which they did not listen to. I'm sill waiting for my short list of questions to be answered. At this point, it looks doubtful that I will be doing anything further with them. Yes, it's been frustrating.

The Mangusta has always been a favorite of mine, ever since I saw one new in person, as a small boy. The model is ok, not great, and not terrible. Comparing to a GT Spirit 1:12 model it is not as good, but also it is a much more limited production model. So you have to factor that in, but I still would have preferred a better model at a higher price.

Unikat is a new company trying to enter the model car field, German based, with all product made in China. 1:12 scale resin models, and 1:18 diecast sometime in the future. The Mangusta is the first piece from them. They are a small firm, and the principal's brother is involved in the model train business - so now cars are on their list.
