McLaren about 15-25 years ago....driver was not only 'central in the cockpit, but sat 'forward' of the other two 'passenger seating positions.

The 'windows in the 'A' pillars kinda make sense given how thick they were at the time and the 'centered' driving position. Looks a bit strange, but, hey, what the heck .

The enclosed front wheels, well that's an esthetic some may like....like John Brown on the Aston Martin 1955 LM winner........weren't there a few other 'classic' cars that had that feature?...This is a question perhaps best answered by Marshall
Anyway....neat car....I'm not into 'street' machines, but the design here is curiously intriguing.
