Yes, I fully realize it was an unbelievably terrible time in history - I've still never been able to fully comprehend man's cruelty to man during that time - so I try to focus more on the sport and its technical side (design and engineering of the race cars) and select personal aspects (the personalities of Rosemeyer, Caracciola, Nuvolari, Lang, etc.)
