in 1:18 scale. This monster is 16 inches long. It appears to be correct in scale, especially with a CMC Auto Union C Typ inside the back. The majority of this truck is made from resin. It did have a couple of issues. One is that the front bumper was crooked toward the ground and I had to pop it off and re-glue. I also had to carefully bend the front headlights forward by the stem as they were pointing towards the sky.
Also, I am not sure if this is intentional by Premium Classixxs but the main rear door that installs onto rear peg holes in the rear does not want to fit completely flush. It hung down, looking slightly open. I think they didn't make the upper lip smooth enough. After I sanded down the inner ledges on the top and bottom with 2000 grit sandpaper, I was able to install it. I think I have to sand a bit more but I will check with a level. ALSO, it comes with a 1/4 size door to make it look open. This wouldn't even stay in the dowels. I applied some tacky glue around the pegs and the mini door stayed in place the next morning.
I like the truck but be warned. A couple of friends have some issues with their copy.
It looks fantastic with the CMC Auto union models. The loading ramp is too long and looks really plastic. I'd be better off making my own with wood.
I will have to get some big art paper as I'm not really a fan of my fuzzy backdrop.
