#438028 For me, this actually happened in 2006

The industry began ignoring Nascar collectors at that time, and for the past ten years, I have not been able to add a contemporary 1/18 scale model, even though Nascar has been through several body style changes.

What I have done is to go back to creating retro versions, using 1/18 scale donors, and 1/24 scale decals (which I used to have a guy enlrge for me, until he died).

There will always be a secondary market in 1/18 scale, just go to eBay and search the over 75,000 hits that "1/18" gets in "Toys and Hobbies".

The 1/18 scale market will never die, which coincidently, if I do, there will be another 1,000 models back into the market, once my widow figures out which one goes into what box.
