However, I think it is easier for the average collector to make a very attractive display in the same scale.

Personally, I like having all my cars the same scale because I like to move them around and have different cars next to each other as I learn new things. As an example, even though I saw them at the track I didn't realize that the earlier Chaparrals were significantly smaller than the cars they ran against.
