#437254 I'd much rather have a die cast or even a BBR of these

512 Coda Lungas. And it's not a must have so I'm not buying one. They weren't really new cars. The teams put on replacement rear bodywork for Le Mans and then switched back to short tails. Same is true for 512M. New bodywork. As usual Ferrari didn't even make the 50 cars required by regulation, much less additional cars.

Sadly, I don't think any of the major manufacturers are going to take the risk of making these less well known cars, when they can make more money off of any Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini or Bugatti street car. I doubt GMP or HW would ever have made a 1/18 Sperimentale. A car so obscure no one is positive what color it was. There are a lot of well known HW Ferraris that are still unsold.

But I am happy that BBR and Looksmart are making Le Mans winning Ferrari cars as the quality will likely be better. As you say, these Tecnomodel cars are mostly larger versions of 1/43s which they did previously and it seems to me that's just what they are. No further research or detail. If you want that car badly, you buy it quickly, because you won't see another one.
