#436810 My wife would kill me Rochester. PIC
Posted by stewil on Thursday May 21, 2015 at 09:58AM in response to #436809
She found this cabinet (among others) in a going out of business store (and paid for it) for me to display my models in, thus keeping them out of the rest of the house.

Note that the cabinet contains representatives in all scales.

A wider view. There is the 1928 1/15th Stutz Blackhawk in the columnar display behind.
Even at 1/43ed scale LSR's are huge in length, though some folks might have the room or can follow Rochester's suggestion. :)
My LSR collection tells the story of speed starting with the 1st official record holder (1898 Jeantaud electic @ 39.245 MPH) through the most recent at Mach 1.02 (Thrust SSC, 763.135 MPH in 1997).
A slightly different angle shows the top shelf "oldies" a little better.

Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve
