#436778 For years, I've been using 'quick detailer' sprays

from any of the top manufacturers, Mother's, Meguiars, Turtle Wax, etc. I spray it onto either a micro fiber towel or an old T-shirt. Just watch out for foil emblems. To remove surface dust, I use a make-up brush.
For detached mirrors, if there's enough 'meat' on the mounting surface, I use 5 minute epoxy. Roughen the glue surfaces to give the glue something to bite onto. If the mirror is on a stalk, I use a micro drill and bits to drill holes into the stalk and body. I use straight pins super glued into the stalk and to the body. Roughen the pin to give the glue biting surface.
