most of the time, a quick wipe with Johnsons Future/Klear floor wax ( liquid ) will solve the issue. Try painting a very small area in a corner of the part...let it dry ( about 5 minutes ) and see what happens.....you MAY have to do both sides.
Nice thing about this floor wax is that it can be brushed on and will not leave streaks, if the part is held 'kinda horizontal' while the wax dries.Use enough to cover the affected aea with one brush load....means using a 'larger' brush. Practice on other plastic parts until you feel comfortable with your technique.
