The 1955 LM winner

IMO, one of the most beautiful racers in history.(I should really take a better shot of the model)
The engine detailing might not be up to CMC or Exoto standards (mostly some plastic shortcuts at the carbs and the ignition system), but the beautifully executed body, typically flawless AA BRG paint and exterior details, I think, more than make up for the engine bay shortcomings. Fortunately, the cockpit detailing is much better done than the engine bay. I think AA was forced to put more work into the cockpit than the engine compartment to match the quality of the car exterior/body as it is an open car.
