mostly old Ferrari models by Bburago and Jouef. They were not highly 'hyped' cars just the only show in town.

I will say that I have a number of highly touted cars that I would have regretted getting if I had not been able to 'fix' their shortcomings. The ride heights on the GMP Ferrari 330 P4 & Exoto Porsche 917/30 come to mind in this regard as do the tires on the AUTOart Jaguar XKE.
