I don't have too many "hype" models which I won't have bought without the talk around it.
But surely I do have several that somehow lack my attention, because I felt I "have to have" them because they fit so well into the collection.
Probably 5 HW 512S were too many, or 2 street M1s.

Other "problem cars" are one that I like but the color isn't right, but which was the only available one.
These are cars I tend to exchange later, happened with my red Urraco which happens to be green now. :-)

That Nissan in your post is a great discussion piece.
I don't have any personal links to it, but I got one rather well-priced and the model detail and visual impact is so great that it is one of my constantly displayed cars.
