because they raced many of the available cars in the 60s. Everything from Ferrari to Ford GT40s, Cobras, Lolas, Corvettes and Porsches.

But I decided I didn't have any connection to the Scuderia since I never saw them race. But I did see NART race at Daytona, Bridgehampton and Watkins Glen. Pedro Rodriguez became one of my favorite drivers because NART ran so often at those tracks. (One of the reasons I'd like to see more Ferrari prototypes)

I agree that focusing on racing history is a big part of the hobby for me and I do far more researching than actual construction. I also constantly change my mind about what to build as I discover new possibilities.
