#432997 GT Spirit Porsche 911 (991) Turbo
Posted by David on Saturday Sep 13, 2014 at 11:21AM
I was quite surprised by GT Spirit's annoucement since Minichamps flooded the market with their Turbo not a while ago.

Minichamps' 911 Turbo is probably one of their best effort lately with the Macan but the quality is not on par with the price asked IMO. The facelifted Panamera is huge fail IMO. With that in mind, you can tell that they didn't bother much during the development of their models, like they rushed things in order to move on to something else. Anyway, a disappointing brand that I don't consider anymore.

On the other hand, typical GT Spirit model. The overall execution is excellent. I really like the fact that they picked the optional LED healigths, which look awesome. Minichamps' attempt to replicate those headlights is light years behind what GT Spirit done. However, I'm not a huge fan of the Rodium silver because of the "champagne" tint is has to it. I suspected the white balance to be off on the presentation pictures, but it is not. Looks better in hand though. I definitely prefer Achat grey the Minichamps has.
