process. To 'cure' this would require multiple slides in the tool, and the price
takes a quantum leap.This technique allows the model to release from the tool more easily.
Much of this can be hidden by tweaking the tooling and then re-inspecting the outcome with paint on the model
Usually, you won't notice this as much on the unpainted buck. The other part of this 'issue' is that the paint on this sample is VERY glossy, thus magnifying the effect.It may not be as obvious if you are holding a 'real' model in your hand.
The depth of the shut lines/panel lines is at the toolmakers need/or the instructions he's given. They can be made deeper, but at the risk of clogging partially( doesn't take much in the way of 'bits of metal' stuck to the groove ) after 'x' number of shots, thus requiring the tool to be taken out of production for more frequent cleanings....more cost.
