#431973 Pics of CMC Bugatti 57 SC 1938 Corsica Sporting Coupe M-129

My CMC Bugatti 57 SC 1938 Corsica Sporting Coupe M-129 showed up last week. I'm quite pleased with it for the most part. I did have to adjust the windscreen pane a little bit. I also noticed that the steering wheel has a bit of play (quarter turn each way) so I don't know if this is typical. It's a very nice car and the paint stripe is magnificent compared to some other samples I have seen. It is number 959/1000. The blue rectangular object is actually the car manual that goes in the boot. It is magnetic.. The other thing is that I cannot open the trunk very far because the rolled up canvas "top" behind the seats on the rear of the car block the bonnet from being opened very far. A friend was able to disconnect the strap that holds the rolled up canvas so that he could open his trunk further. He doesn't recommend it as he says the leather strap is VERY fragile. The spare wheel cover is indeed removable and there is a spare wheel! The rear wheel spats are removable but a little tricky to reinstall. The screws are SO tiny and you have to put the upper tab in the fender slot properly. I had to use a magnetic screwdriver used for watches or smart phone screws..

The last image is actually the blue Bugatti manual that magnetically stays in the trunk of the car! It is so tiny I couldn't make out the words until I took a macro shot! It was on the bottom of the chassis next to the foam tissue so I guess it fell out. I freaked out because I thought something broke off. lol… ridiculous detail.. lol
