All period correct Stronglight/Spidel French components collected in the last 4 years, anticipating this grail build. All classic and vintage bike collectors tend to build up build stashes like this, in the hopes of finding that grail bike frame in the future to mount them on.
I even have a period correct all French wheelset I built myself with Stronglight Delta 28H hubs, Maillard 7 speed freewheel and Wolber Profil 20 tubular rims. I'm also transferring a saddle from another bike to this one. Only things still missing for this build is a seatpost and handlebar. I'm also looking for a Simplex derailleur set, but might use the Mavic 851 SSC set I already have as spares for my bike as a stand in,, till I find the right Simplex derailleurs.
