Formula 1 1992
Benetton Ford B191B #20 Camel , Early Season Version , with Driver Figure Brundle, Martin
For the 1992 Season, Benetton, besides having acquired the new talent Michael Schumacher, additionally signed the experienced British driver Martin Brundle. However the German got along better with the Benetton and achieved his first victory at the Belgium Grand Prix. Despite solid results, Brundle had to leave the team already after one year. Although they finished in the points in every single race, Benetton failed to finish second in the constructors championship by only a few points. As best non-Williams driver, Schumacher finished third overall in his first full Formula one season – in front of the incumbent World Champion Ayrton Senna.
