This little '67 Camaro was perilously close to being crushed, cubed, and shredded but through intervention of the staff at Hot Rod Magazine escaped the scrap heap. During restoration, the guys at Hot Rod installed a radical, 632 cu. in. aluminum big block and bolted in a TCI-modified Turbo 400 transmission. With nicer paint, better tires, suspension, and nearly four times its original horsepower, it stands as a sharp reminder to dedicated restorers thier role in saving the many other countless survivor cars from the scrap heap.
